My name is Chemomenyu Krong, and I’m a nurse from Kenya currently undergoing placement process with Cura Global Talents formerly IPP Care. Why do I want to live and work in Germany? Germany is known for offering free education to all including international students. The high demand for nurses, job security and advanced healthcare systems offer best practices.
I first heard about Cura Global Talents (formerly IPP Care) through a friend. Still, before committing, I did my own research, looking into their digital presence, reading reviews, and checking their track record. What stood out to me was their transparency, consistency and the clear roadmap they offer to nurses like me. Their support covers everything: Language classes from A1 to B2, with B1 and B2 as the required levels to work as a nursing professional in Germany, Exam preparation, visa applications, and job placement; all completely kostenlos (free of charge).
To be honest, I was initially nervous about learning the German Language. It was a completely new language for me, and I didn’t know what to expect. But the Cura Global Talents team, from the admin staff to the teachers made the experience less intimidating. They’re approachable, supportive, and incredibly patient. The classes are structured but also fun. We use discussions, videos, audios, and even games to make learning Deutsch engaging and effective.
Above all, we also take part in mock exams, which help build confidence and prepare us for the official exams. I appreciate the flexibility too. We have the freedom to study when it suits our schedules, which helps a lot when balancing other commitments. And slowly but surely, the language is becoming more familiar. Some words are surprisingly similar to English, and through practice (and a few mistakes!), I’m making steady progress. Deutsch is actually quite interessant (interesting) once you get into it.
Cura Global Talents has created a community where we all encourage each other and celebrate our wins, no matter how small. It’s motivating to know that I’m not alone in this journey. I’m excited for the months ahead as I continue my training and prepare to start my career in Germany. I know the path won’t always be easy, but with the team’s support, I’m confident I’ll get there.
Danke, Cura Global Talents. Germany, see you soon!
